EidFest Lagos is the ultimate EID festival and experience in Lagos!EID el-Fitr is religiously celebrated by all Muslims around the world and by over 13 million Muslims in Lagos, Nigeria. They will gather in the spirit of love and unity of a common way of life and culture - Islam. This comes after fulfilling the 29/30 days of obligatory fasting in our holy month of Ramadan.

Eidfest is a one-day event that aims to deliver a whole experience that celebrates and promotes peace, love, and unity within Muslims. Creating a space for Muslims to converge, bond, eat, drink, play, network, and have a fun-filled, relaxing out-of-home experience in the spirit of the festive celebration.

Journey so far

The idea was birthed by some amazing people who wanted to create a fun experience for Muslims after Eid. Our story started 4 years ago... Strap in.

Eid Fest 1.0

held in May 2020, (As a result of the Covid- 19 outbreak, it was held virtually. This did not deter us from putting smiles on people's faces in the spirit of the season by sharing food) which happened to have been a fully virtual event with games, gifts and other interesting online activities.

Eid fest 2.0

held on the 16th of May 2021 at Bay water Park, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria. 400+ people

Eid fest 3.0

was held on the 7th of May, 2022 with 1600+ attendees Lekki Central Mosque, Lagos

Eid fest 4.0

was held on the 23rd of April, 2023 with about 3000 attendees and 40 vendors at Muri Okunola Park, VI, Lagos

Today

EID Fest is now gearing up for the 5th edition and with successful precedents, the event has been broadly expanded to host 3000+ attendees, this category of people will include; families, couples, young individuals and kids as well. There is something planned for every demography to form a wholesome experience, and additional lineup of activities like;

Our Story

It all started as a need to shape differently and improve the EID celebration experience for Muslims all over Lagos. We were called ambitious at first; 8 young Muslims on a mission to change the status quo and celebrate the EID in grand style; different and uncommon.

After 4 years, over 4 editions, EidFest Lagos has been able to gather over 5000+ Muslims, in the spirit of EID, spreading love and strengthening bonds in the Muslim community; an experience like never before.What started out as just an idea, a dream at best, became a vision, a reality which thousands of Muslims look forward to yearly.

Last year, we launched The Eid Picnic which held on the 2nd of July 2023. The scope of the event was to gather young professional Muslims to celebrate Eid-l-Kabir in a serene and relaxing atmosphere with fun packed activities and opportunities to network with peers.
